iPhone GPS Games

Anyone know of any good iPhone GPS games? An example would be a few weeks ago reading about Google creating an online Google Maps version of Monopoly. I'd like to play a game where you can buy, sell, and or trade virtual property. Things like that. Any suggestions?

Free iPhone Apps For Kids

I have been looking around for some free iPhone apps for kids and I really haven't had too much luck. If you have found some really cool free apps for your kids, please let me know what they are in the comments below. So far, I have found one app called Baby Flash Cards. This app is very nice and comes with 200 flash cards from A to Z. Here are two screen shots:

Download Traffic Rush For iPhone

I found a really cool free iPhone app called traffic rush. In this game you control the traffic flow in a congested intersection. You have to stop, accellerate, or allow vehicles to pass through at normal speed from all four sides. The game is very entertaining and challenging.

Go to the app store and do a search for "Traffic Rush" and you'll see it listed in the top.

Play it a few times and then post your high score here in the commets below.

Best Deal on The Rockwell Jawhorse

So I am sitting here at The Wheel Shop in Clarksville Tn waiting to get my tire plugged ,because I ran over a nail, and I was watching a tv commercial for the Rockwell Jawhorse. Let me tell you, this thing looks awesome and I think when I get home I'll research and find the best deal on one. Do you own a Rockwell Jawhorse, if so did you purchase it from the 800 number on the television commercial, or did you go online and try to find a better deal? Regardless, I think that this tool could be extrmemly useful around the house... Especially hanging sheet rock from the ceiling.

Where can I get cheap breakfast in Clarksville Tn.

I love breakfast. Usually I cook breakfast every morning. However, this morning Dana and I had a lot of errands to run and didn't have time to cook and eat breakfast. That didn't mean that we weren't hungry though. And that lead us to try to find a cheap place to eat breakfast. So, if you live in Clarksville and want to find a cheap place to eat breakfast, I recommend McDonalds. I know you were probably looking for something more unique, but let's face it.... McDonalds is cheap. Dana and I drove thru and had breakfast for less than $6 dollars. We had two sausage McGriggles for a dollar each, two hashbrowns for a dollar each and a large Coke for a dollar.

Where can I get my tire plugged in Clarksville TN.

If you live in Clarksville TN and you need to get your tire plugged. I recommend going to The Wheel Shop and Tire Repair. I called around to get prices and they ranged from $10 plus tax to $24.95 with tax. I called The Wheel Shop, spoke with Steve, and he charged only $8 dollars. They are located directly across the street from the Toyota dealer. For directions, follow the link below.

Testing Post by MMS With Photo Upload

The first test looked hot! Now, let's test to see what a post via mms looks like with a photo attached.

I am hoping that the photo will be above this paragraph.

And I am hoping that these are really paragraph breaks.

Testing Post by MMS Feature

I am testing the post by mms feature. Let's see how well it works.

how to unfreeze your iPhone

If you recently purchased an iPhone, then it's very likely that you've upgraded from an older and lesser stable kind of mobile phone. With most mobile phones it quickly becomes second nature to pull the battery out if it freezes. However, when your iPhone freezes, I am sure a springs sprung in your brain when your default instinct are to pull the battery.

As you know, pulling the battery isn't an option for unfreezing your iPhone. That being said, you might be wondering how to unfreeze your iPhone. The best way to unfreeze your iPhone is to hold the power button down for about a full minute. If this doesn't work, then hold the home button down for about a full minute. If this doesn't work, then hold down the home and power button at the same time for about a minute. If this doesn't work, then I think the iPhone is programmed to reset itself. By the time you try all these steps, your iPhone should restart. If not, then you better hope you have the warranty.

Do Space Heaters Help Reduce Your Bill?

I'd like to believe that using space heaters do not help reduce your bill. The average space heater is 120v using 1500 watts / 12.5 amps per hour. To put that into more visual terms, that's like having 25 60watt light bulbs burning away hour after hour.

Now a standard central heat and air unit with heat pump very well may use more wattage, voltage, and amperage; however, you have to consider the fact that your central heat and air unit doesn't run constantly hour after hour. The unit may run for only around five minutes before bringing your house to temperature.

So long story short, using a space heater does not help reduce your electric bill, if anything, it makes it more expensive. I don't know the average energy consumption of a central heating and air unit, but my guess would be around 4500 watts 40 amps at 240 volt. These numbers are higher, but keep in mind that an entire house is being heated and also the until could run constantly for 30 minutes per hour before it would become more costly than a space heater running non-stop each hour.

Does 3G Ever Slow Down?

Probably a stupid question, but does 3G ever slow down? The reason I ask is because frequently when I am on my iPhone and in a 3G network, sometimes my connection speeds vary. At times my speeds seem slower than Edge, yet my indicator still shows I am connected on 3G. Anyone else notice this?

Have you considered using your mms messages as blog content?

Knowing me, I am probably the only one who has considered using mms messages as blog content. See here's the thing about blogging and making money online with a blog. The content needs to be unique.... There can't be another copy anywhere online, at least that's what I believe. Secondly, content really is kind. Thirdly, content equals money and contextual ads pay well. Forthy, most if my mms message content is pretty juicy to nosy people, so you can count on repeat traffic, which creates SEO value. So all in all posting your mms messages as blog content might not be a bad idea. Want me to start posting mine? Leave me a comment and let me know! I just might surprise you. ;)

Can't Create Gmail Filters on Iphone

I think that doing as much as you can with the iPhone is great. I also think that it's great to see companies like Google offering various solutions to iPhone users. That said, gmail totally rocks on the iPhone, however one thing that bothers me is that you can create or mange filters using the iPhone. If it wasn't for that, everything would be perfect. Here is a screenshot of my filterless option on the iPhone:

How many languages does the average person speak?

When I chat with people online from other countries, most of them know English in addition to their native language. That kind of makes me wonder how many languages the average person speak. My guess would be two. What do you think?

How long can a plant go without sunlight?

I have an Umbrella plant that has gone almost a full month without sunlight and it's still very healthy. Now I know that eventually this plant will die, but the question I have is how long can the plant go without any sunlight? I'm not going to wait around to find out because the plant actually has a lot of personal value to me, but I think it would bean interesting thing to find out. Come to think about it, many years ago when I was in grade school, I did a science experiment testing this. Actually, the test consisted of filtering out different colors from the color spectrum. I believe I had used spider plants. Each plant was kept in a bottle and wrapped with colored film. I remember using red, green, and yellow. Also, one plant didn't have any filters and another was allowed zero light. It would be nice if I could find the data of my childhood experiment, but that information has long disappeared. Perhaps though, that would be a great science experiment for one of my kids.
